beef stew and mash and chiabata bread for me

Greensleeves · 24/08/2006 14:22

chicken and mushroom risotto, I think...not sure yet.

Kids will be having "buried treasure" - "golden sand" (couscous) with "treasure nuggets" (bits of chicken and veg) followed by "pick your own pudding" (blackberries in the garden)

They are still young enough to fall for Mummy's bullsh*t

canniloni with ricota and tomato mince.

shhhh · 24/08/2006 14:44

God I ahte this question..DH asks me everyday without fail. Its so hard trying to decide what to cook and then for dh to turn around and say "Oh I don't fancy that..or I used to get shite like that at home" .!!!!!!

Tonights choice is Steak, Mexican Rice and Salad.

UselessMum · 24/08/2006 15:45

lasagne. it's quick and easy. you can make a lot and freeze it, before you cook it. your dh will love it and will think you've been grafting all day.

SoMuchToBits · 24/08/2006 15:59

Prawn Risotto. Yum.

If my dh said "I don't fancy that", I would tell him he could either eat it, or cook something else himself! I think he'd eat it.

ComeOVeneer · 24/08/2006 19:22

Slow cooked lamb shanks with carrots, celery and flagolet beans in a tomato and onion sauce with mash potato. A rather wintery meal but I really fancied it!?!?
