can i eat pate when breastfeeding

I know it's not ok to eat pate when pregnant but can't remember why vitamin A is bad for pregnancy and wondered now i've had the baby and am breastfeeding can I eat it ?

There is nothing you can't eat when breastfeeding. Eat as much pate as you like.

shit I hope so, the minute after I got home after delivering my dd that morning was eat half a kilo of pate... followed by unpasteurised cheese
Bear in mind dd slept well from birth there must be link LOL
