The girl I work with just gave me a bunch of flowers.

She said that as she didn't have a mother of her own anymore she'd do the next best thing and give flowers to the lovliest mummy she knew!!

Needless to say we both started crying in the office!

Oh Thomcat that is so sweet (and well-deserved - just got a copy of Eve and loved the article!) Give her a big hug on Monday - Mother's Day is pants when your own is gone, and double pants if she has no children of her own yet.
