Works at a call center
And has a flat tummy

Your turn....

OP posts:
SherlockQV · 22/08/2006 20:26

I know LOTS about other MNers, but, if I told you all about it, they'd hunt me down and shoot me........

Cam · 22/08/2006 20:26

Showofhands, I swear to you I've never met your dh

VeniVidiVickiQV · 22/08/2006 20:29

This is for Lapsed...............

QueenPeaHead · 22/08/2006 20:32

ok ok I'm going to do this WITHOUT LOOKING AT THE THREAD to remind me of anything.
Ooooooh, it is like an exam, I'm all nervous.

Easy ones first.
Cod is an ex history teacher JP with 3 kids, 2 of them with the same name as mine. Taurus, 36, Canadian husband, appalling typing skills, lovely shiny dark hair.
CD is an IT consultant, lovely daughter with a blonde mop of hair, HUGE dog called Ruby, newly refurbed house in sheen, husband turned 40 this year
Sophable is a lovely liberal who is generally OUTRAGED by everything that the rest of us are completely cynical about. Her DS looks like what I wanted my children to look like - massive dark eyes, mop of hair... sigh
Enid is married to the brother of a mate of mine from school who was a bit of a rebel aged 15 but is now a pillar of Dorset society. 3 dds, one of whom is the proud owner of an enormous pink unicorn and its all my fault . Works for an art charity 2 days a week and used to copywrite for johnnie boden.
Marina is lovely, works in a music library in the barbican, knits and isn't really called Marina much to my disappointment...
MotherInferior has a fabulous way with words, a hilarious wit, two beautiful daughters who don't look in the slightest bit quarter Indian, red hair and was, frankly, a bit of a slapper before she got married
Aloha, we miss you! Sigh.
Malory lives in the country OOOP north, has a lovely shiny new aga and is slim and chic
Flum lives near Marlborough, has just had a lovely second baby and will be going shopping with me just as soon as we look lovely again (did you know that flum?)
Harpsi was a lawyer, is training to be a bf counsellor, tandem feeds her lovely daughters, runs a choir, loves her boden coat, and has hardly spoken to me since she came round to mine for lunch (I must have scared her or given her food poisoning or something). She used to artificially inseminate pigs for a holiday job. Oh, and worked at Buckingham Palace
I've known Issymum for years and think she is the finest person possible. Apart from her obsession with her cats, which may have calmed down slightly since she adopted her petite and beautiful daughters
Milge is another lawyer, married to a dh who wants to be an MP, and may come and live near me soon if she can only find a house... and has 3 year old twins (who are probably almost 4 now). And spotted JudgeFlounce for a fraud about 5 minutes before I did...!
Ernest lives in Switzerland, has 3 children, thought about a 4th for ages, but has decided against. for the moment.
Orangina is my sister. I know lots of things about her!
Soupy lives in Croydon, has maintained a mysterious aura on MN for years, even managing to give birth to her not-so-fictional third child without telling anyone she was pregnant.
Toothy is smart, brave, mouthy, and giving her crappy ex dh hell. Go toothy!
Spacecadet was married to a bloke who couldn't be arsed to look after her when she was practically dying of pneumonia. She is now divorcing him. Go Spacey!
Hunkermunker has a ds about 2 days older than my dd2 but I bet he is sleeping beautifully at night, grrrr
WWW has been much happier since she told tosser mctoss to toss off, and since I've been on MN has moved to Bristol and got married. Never met her, though I'd like to.
Beety has 4 children, is the only person I know with a daughter called Mary (great name), and has discussed shoes with Madonna. She pretends to hate living in the country but loves it really.
Dinosaur is another city lawyer and another JudgeFLounce spotter....
Moondog is a welsh hippy who knits yoghurts in eastern turkey and runs over ponies for fun in her spare time
Sunchowder is a sweetie pie who lives in florida with one daughter and who answered my plea for a marshmallow rice krispie with a recipe that I use to this day
SusieWong used to be "caterer to the stars" and DOES make the finest chocolate brownies in the world, it is true. In australia, sadly.
Oliveoil used to shag a famous singer - was it a gallagher brother? Can't remember but I think she probably lives a supercool life in Manchester.
Mears is a midwife and we all love her.
Joolstoo is hilarious and I'd be happy to have her as MY mother
Hub2Dee is a brilliant gardener who opened his garden to the public this year, god that must have been a lot of work.
Hulababy used to live in an apartment but now has a house in Sheffield, married to a lawyer. Has decided to stick to one dd.
Uwila works pretty much full time, and employs nannies after extremely rigorous selection procedures!
Expat used to climb mountains and had a relationship with a cardiologist who was also a drug addict. Or something. I think. Anyway now married to a builder in scotland with two little dds.
Sobernow never was an alcoholic, which I assumed for YEARS that she was because of her username!
Anorak was married to some guy who made porno movies in his spare time.

I can't believe I've spent about 40 minutes on that, there are so many more people but I really need a pee

LieselVonTrapp · 22/08/2006 20:33

Right moretea over here for an arse kicking. I take it youve seen me kicking off the past couple of days. I was nice last night though. Please dont search my name on here you'll ban me from ever going on here again. Did tena lady really give you a virtual slap?

SenoraPostrophe · 22/08/2006 20:37

lol at the 40 minutes and the obsession with mop-like hair, qph!

isn't cod a mag and not a jp though?

tamum · 22/08/2006 20:39

Go, PPH! (it was Noel G. by the way, and expat's dh isn't a builder, but top marks otherwise)

Thanks for explaining www, I will testify in your defence in court if it comes to that

QueenPeaHead · 22/08/2006 20:39

same thing senora

sorry for missing you out, there are hundreds of people I didn't get to

QueenPeaHead · 22/08/2006 20:41

oh and tamum I know you are a geneticist and think yuo speak welsh too (or am I making that up?)

anyway senora, shouldn't you be giving birth about now? go to bed! You need all the strength you can get!

oh bugger better go check birth announcements in case I've missed it.

Blandmum · 22/08/2006 20:41

Queenpeahead, Unless I am deluded (always a possibility) MI isn't married (shock horror! )

tamum · 22/08/2006 20:42

Only about 4 words, but well done otherwise (I know you have 4 children and a horsebox and look like Alex Kingston, FWIW)

tamum · 22/08/2006 20:43

Ooooh, well spotted mb!

SenoraPostrophe · 22/08/2006 20:43

but anyway.

prufrock has a dd and a ds almost the same ages as mine, but now i've broken the pattern.

hulababy and gingerbear also have dds the same age as mine, and cd has a slightly younger dd who is a child prodigy.

qph drives a 4x4, and if I remeber correctly, started the first mnet punchup I witnessed inder a different username.

marthamoo thinks www's shopping list is poncetastic.

there. I'd post more, but there are some mnetters I mix up and I'm bound to confuse them.

Jimjams2 · 22/08/2006 20:43

I had no idea cod's dh was Canadian. I assumed upper class English PMSL.

I haven't got time to do everyone but

Tamum has the lovliest children,

Poopey lives in NZ, and has loads of energy (that puts me to shame) and bravely came to stay :-)

Gooseegg keeps me sane (by having ds1 AND ds3- not at the same time)

Blandmum · 22/08/2006 20:44

Tamum's dh is aslo a genetics expert, but doesn't know as much about RNA and DNA as she once thought!(another shocking exposure from the martian)

SenoraPostrophe · 22/08/2006 20:44

and yes, I should be giving birth soon. I think he'll wait until at least tomorrow though because I haven't sorted the baby clothes out yet.

motherinferior · 22/08/2006 20:47

Binkie, Dinosaur, Issymum, Anchovy, Oldiemum, Martianbishop and Dannie were all contemporaries of mine at university. Sadly I only knew the first two at the time as I reckon we could have had one hell of a party.

tamum · 22/08/2006 20:47

Maybe this will turn out to be a novel way of inducing labour, eh? Good luck when it starts, anyway SP

mb, that's true, although I think what he doesn't know about DNA could still be written on a postage stamp. Now genetics...

Jimjams also has lovely children, who are most entertaining!

Blandmum · 22/08/2006 20:49

MI what a time we could have had. We could have reclaimed the night and got pissed at the same time!

motherinferior · 22/08/2006 20:52

And no, I have so far refrained from doing the honour of making Mr Inferior the Happiest Man Alive

MoreTeaAnyone · 22/08/2006 21:17

Sorry liesel, just read your post. Yeh tenalady slapped me gooooood.

nikkie · 22/08/2006 21:17

GDG has 3 dses

will have to think some more now!!!!!

thewomanwhothoughtshewasahat · 22/08/2006 21:37

not a sauage. not one measley morsel. nada (as I believe the trendy young things might say). None of you know a single thing about me. I'm going to throw my toys right out of this pram. (and the sad thing is....it's probably true...)

motherinferior · 22/08/2006 21:39

twatsah has two daughters, her husband does at least a day's childcare a week (and they've been interviewed in the Guardian about it), they met at university (same one as me but later) and have sex twice a week. She is doing a master's and used a birth centre for her second baby.

motherinferior · 22/08/2006 21:39

and she was also very thrilled the day she discovered the joy of wearing matching bras and pants, and resolved to do so frequently.
