am SO TEMpted to get the L max for dd2

but I KNOW dd1 will prefer it to her nintendo ds and there will be arguements...

yes but they are so expensive, dh said to go for game boy or nintendo,how old your dd2 and ds1?

I think the Leapster is brilliant for the right age group. DS1 is 4.5 years and ds2 is 2.5 years and both like to play. I think the L-max is about £47 from Amazon. The original Leapster is £40.

I got dd's for £35 from Ebay and the day after it arrived, ELC had it in their sale for £30, so keep your eyes peeled for a bargain. I wouldn't want to pay the full retail price for it.

We got one for DS for his 4th b'day. He's now just turned 5 and still plays with it. They seem to have some new games out now too. My sisters have just bought him two new ones for his birthday although he hasn't had those yet - think they got him Cars and Spiderman.

Find it great while travelling or out for dinner or something.

Just tried to post but it doesn't seem to have worked. The l-max works on your TV via a supplied cable into the A/V sockets. The games are also designed to work on your TV. The l-max games can also be used on the original leapster (without the TV bit) and the original games can be used on the l-max (without the TV bit). Hope this makes sense!

Even dd2 plays games on hers and she doesn't like computer things!
