i've just received a letter from a company called Protravel saying Ive won 50 pounds in Amazon vouchers from the Nestle Kitkat Lucky Breaks and Tesco competition. They want mevto complete a form with my namw, address, email address and phone number. They are not asking for bank info or any money. I dont remember entering comp but use tesco regularly so is possible. Is this a scam? Ive googled and Protravel seem legit

I doubt it. If you google the name of the competition, it was to enter the code found on the kitkat wrapper to win an aer lingus flight.
There may well be a legitimate travel company of that name, but does their registered address match the one you have to reply to?

I'm a cynic, but would imagine if you return the form with your details the next step is to ask you for bank details or money up front.

yes, the address matches. I'm a cynic too but then the prize is only 50pounds in amazon vouchers. if it was a scam do you think they would be trying to tempt me with a better prize? Don't know whether to respond or chuck it in the bin!

Well, they have your name and address already, obv.
Reply with those details and say you don't have email or a phone.

Dunno tbh, I deleted several emails from someone called Charles at Christmas who kept telling me I'd won £100 Asda vouchers in some competition and asking me for my address. When I received a "this really is my last attempt, I'm going to give the vouchers to someone else" I sent my address and the following week a DHL envelope arrived with a £100 gift card and I felt a bit of an eejit, especially as I couldn't remember entering anything!

oooh, not sure now. I might just fill the address bit in (as they already have it) and give incorrect email and only my mobile number and see what happens.
