Hi there, hoping someone can help. DH and I recently hired bikes on a day out and really enjoyed it (had dS on seat on back of one) we ahve been looking on e-bay to buy a couple of bikes. Reluctant to buy new as not sure how much we will use them, especially as hoping to be pg again soon.

My problem is I do not know what frame/ wheel sizeI should be looking for.

Me: 5'1, 28" inside leg
him: 6' 32" inside leg

Also is it OK to cycle when pregnant? (I rea;ise in the laterstages it will not be possible!)

Thanks

Here is a way to calculate your frame size. As an example, I am 5'8" and my bike has a 20" frame. The main thing to be aware of is that you need to have a couple of inches gap between the crossbar and your bottom. You should be able to stand up comfortably on the bike when you are stopped.

Yes, it is absolutely fine to cycle when pregnant. I cycled back and forth to work every day until about 34 weeks. After that I just felt to huge to balance properly.
