Dh is away with work again and feel peeved knowing he is out being wined and dined while I am home with the gruesome twosome who have been particulary hard work the past couple of days. Cant remember last time I had a meal out unless you count the portion of chippy chips last night I shared with ds...when did my life get like this..I feel like I am a hamster on a wheel with no way to get off and if I am like this now what will this time next year be like when no.3 comes and dh still gets off and does his thing...sigh

Im like this too at the moment mate... get kids to bed, sit and calm down and have a large bar of choccy.

It was my birthday yesterday, was it special - NO! KFC on living room floor followed by a choccy cake - woo bloody hoo!

Things are even crapper today to the extent i havent even eaten yet!

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Hiya,
I often feel like this, at the mo my dh is in work and won't get home till half nine (and Im grateful for that, don't get me wrong).
But, somedays it feels like Im just a mother, and thats is sometimes. I have got a night off on saturday and going out with some mates, when is your dh home?
Can you order a take away to be delivered, maybe comething you do not have often. Have a dvd on the tv, or listen to some music?

Host a Pampered Chef party, get your friends then you can get smashed while the consultant feeds everyone. You get lots of free kitchen gadgets to use, give away at Xmas or sell on Ebay and spend the money on chocolate (or just host a Chocoholics party and get free chocolate.)

I second the Pampered Chef party. I had one about 2 months ago and it was a great evening.

Nemo sweetie - I have now eaten - it may well have been chips from the chippy but hey, ive eaten!!!

DH still hasnt moved off the sofa - been there since 5pm - admitedly he fell earlier and has seriously injured himself again, but still - WHEN CAN I LIE ON THE SOFA FOR 5 HOURS?!

Thinknig of you hun, we can get through this - and one day - hopefully soon - we will no longer be tied to the house by the gorgeous darling babies!

Nemo1977 · 15/08/2006 21:46

lol jarmy..know what you mean about the lying down..my dh does that or disappears upstairs..I even get jealous of him going to the loo in peace ffs..lol Long while before I get to have time without my clingy sprogs at least couple of years when no.3 is out..lol

i know that feeling hun, by the time Becky is old enough not to need me, I will no doubt have numbers 3 and 4 under my feet!!!

However much we stress and crave time out, we wouldnt change them for the world. Go and see them sleep and you will feel it!!

Not long now huh Nemo?!

Nemo1977 · 15/08/2006 21:52

god I know I would never change them and moan every day at how quickly they are growing up but at same time didnt expect to end up chained to the kitchen sink at the same time...lol
