I did put hairspray on instead of perfume once..had a gift set of hair products in miniture, shampoo, conditioner and setting spray in a pink bottle, I was also using Moonflower perfume at same time in very similar bottle...had a stiff neck for a while..lol

Coddy - Ya muppet!

CountessDracula · 12/03/2004 11:23

Coddy do you keep pledge in your bedroom/bathroom then? I find it safter to use roll on personally!

Cleaner did once clean the windows with de-icer. Jolly clean they were too but we couldn't breathe.

noddy5 · 12/03/2004 11:28

when we were kids my mum sprayed mr sheen on by accident to newly shaved armpits and got the most gigantic abcess which required months of treatment so be careful!

nutcracker · 12/03/2004 11:33

Actually more than once

mothernature · 12/03/2004 11:35

Coddy · 12/03/2004 11:36

Demented · 12/03/2004 17:56

LOL Coddy, on both counts!

What's this emergency cleaning all about, you sound way too organised for me even if you do spray Pledge under your arms!

Coddy · 12/03/2004 17:58

I know double thicko...
I have stashes of clening stuff hidden so I cna do a quicj whizz around without having to go downstairs and get all the stuff

flash bathrroom wipes are good as make up remover wipes (!)

No i use them every morning to remove all the crap form the sink

I once put ribena in the washing machine instead of persil liquid. Definitely the stupidest thing I've ever done

hmb · 12/03/2004 18:15

My mother was ace at doing this sort of thing. Once sprayed her hair with Pledge, but a hair conditioner up her nore isnted of sinus treatment and onve tried to brown the gravy with Veno's cough mixture!

kiwisbird · 12/03/2004 18:21

brushed your teeth with anusol
do not ask...

babster · 12/03/2004 18:25

I sprayed my airplant with 1001 Uses carpet cleaner - smelled lovely but turned a bit crispy. Now Ribena in the washing machine - that sounds baaad (hope it was a dark wash ).

wilbur · 12/03/2004 18:30

Last summer I used fake tan mousse instead of hair mousse (head upside down, reached into cabinet for container....). Had a brown streak in my hair for weeks. Many moons ago, during a milkman strike, my mother put parmesan cheese (1970's powder version) in her tea instead of powdered milk. Kitchen smelt of sick for ages.

hmb · 12/03/2004 18:37

One which I have posted before, put 'Anusol' on my piles in the dark, only to find I had used Bonjella.....don't try this one at home girls, it stings like hell!!!!

motherinferior · 14/03/2004 18:42

Never confuse spermicide gel with toothpaste. Years ago but still a tingly memory

hmb · 14/03/2004 18:51

Puts a whole new meaning on 'The Ring of Confidence'!

Ronniebaby · 14/03/2004 21:02

I told hubby to get some oil, for you know, and (don;t do it Girls) he grabbed Olbas Oil, OUCH OUCH, I could certainly breathe more easily, every time I walked.

When asked he said well it said Oil, duh.
