MICROFIBRE TOWELS

I'm really disappointed with the microfibre towels that I've bought (good job I bought them from Q.V.C. because I'm returning them for a full refund!).

Just wondered if anyone else had tried them and liked them because I found that they were just not absorbant AT ALL, as I was still dripped wet after having it wrapped around me for 10 minutes.

No I don't like them either - takes age to get dry with them and when my hands were dry and rough last winter I always felt like the towel was catching on my skin. I bought one because I thought it might be good for holidays (would dry quickly) but won't be getting any more.

I have a few of the hair wrap ones, which are good for keeping my hair out of the way while i dress, and the better quality ones did absorb quite bit. Never tried the body wrap ones

yep, i bought some for the gym in tkmaxx and thought they were rubbish. (oh no, don't sue us tkmaxx!)

I found they caught on my rough hands too, but discovered they're much more effective when used to vigorously wipe yourself dry rather than just wrapped round as they don't really 'wick' like cotton.
I use them for wiping down bikes, drying floor etc now.

Glad it's just not me then! I found they 'stuck' to my skin and even when I tried to rub myself dry, I was still soaking wet! QVC are collecting them, I wonder what they do with 2nd hand towels?
