what's the best way to get from Waterloo to Old Street? the tube looks like a pain - is there a bus that's possibly quicker? how long should I allow?

Ask Ken's journey planner

thewomanwhothoughtshewasahat · 06/08/2006 19:49

Journey planner reckons 15/16 mins on tube versus 28/30 mins on bus. That's leaving now. Will depend on time of day.

northern line, no probs. Beware of all the exits at Old Street though, there are loads!!

thewomanwhothoughtshewasahat · 06/08/2006 20:15

the journey planner says to take the Bakerloo to Elephant and Castle then the northern - which suprises me cos that's 7 stops. jubilee to London Bridge then northern would be 4. am I missing something?

I think it may be that London Bridge station is very large and you may have to walk a bit for the change.

thewomanwhothoughtshewasahat · 06/08/2006 20:51

Yes - I thought that might be the reason. in actual fact on closer inspection they recommend either route
