Helloooooooo,
Dunno if anyone remembers my breastfeeding in public dilemma, BUT, I BF in public yesterday! Well, I sat under a tree in Windsor Great Park, but I guess it counts! Was all up for trying in Windsor town, but it was manic and all the cafes were riddled with smokers, and he wasnt hungry. But I was all ready with my inflatable pillow and all Going to go for a walk this evening with DH and if DS gets hungry, I wont rush home, ,im gonna whip 'em out Sorry, im just all chuffed

well done, what took you so long?

merrily · 06/08/2006 11:06

well done! it's a bit nerve-racking the first time isn't it. I second the Starbucks recommendation, nice comfy sofas.

FrannyandZooey · 06/08/2006 11:06

Ah well done

That really is something to be proud about - every time you feed in public, you are making other women's lives easier too, because they will feel more comfortable doing it themselves and the more normal and socially acceptable it becomes.

Kathlean · 06/08/2006 11:10

Congratulations.

I got to the stage where I stood with a full trolley is ASDA and fed DS. What was I meant to do leave the shopping or let him scream. No one even noticed. (-:

good 4 u, starbucks is ok when its quiet but i find it too busy in windsor at the weekend as there are only a few seats that you can access with the buggy, the others are up a few stairs and i cant carry a tray a a buggy up. Cafes in the station are good as its all one level but when windsor is busy it is busy. But im so lazy i lay down on a blanket and fed dd with ohter half of blanket over the top, nobody had a clue they thoght i was sleeping!!!

Tommy · 06/08/2006 20:00

Congratulations! Keep it up and you might inspire other women to do it too
My sister and I sat in Starbucks on the lovely sofas both feeding our few weeks old babies - it was great
