Things that have made me laugh today:

  1. The thought of someone looking up the lyrics to "Ebony & Ivory" so that they could sing it.

  2. The thread where your baby-in-waiting starts off as Madelaine Grace and ends up as Rhino-Brenda.

  3. Ds1 (3yrs old) solemnly addressing me as "Mrs Mummy" this afternoon.

I laughed and laughed today during a class discussion with my Y11 class. We were (for once) having a really intense discussion, trying to understand upper and lower bounds.

Then suddenly, in the middle of it a student put his hand up and said "Oh yeah, that reminds me, this friend of mine, right, is having a baby."

Where did that come from?

ds got a new hat today with ear flaps - his cheeks are all pink at the moment and he looks so comical...it was a nice laugh - a kind of laughing with rather than at!!

Did any fellow sad people listen to the Popmasters quiz on Radio 2 this morning? The question was "With what kind of karma did John Lennon have a hit?" The contestant answered 'Sutra'.

I'm not sure where ds1 got Mrs Mummy from but he looked so serious as he said it.
