am absolutely stuck on what to get dh for birthday.
there are no gigs/shows etc coming up that he would like to see, no cds etc that he wants.
he's not big on clothes seeing them as something to prevent him being naked rather than something to show much interest in.he doesn't really wear aftershave.only real hobbies are reading and occasionally playing guitar(badly!)
he likes sports, going on holiday and drinking whisky!!
my budget is less than a £100.

any ideas please? i'm desperate!!!

Get him a decent bottle of single malt (around £30) and a good, big travel book. Something by Paul Theroux or Bill Bryson.

ocd · 03/08/2006 10:50

alexsmum · 03/08/2006 10:53

don't know when he would ever use it.

he hs the cd player in the car, couldn't use it in work, would be very unpopular if he sat plugged into it at home, and doesn't tend to do much walking down the street alone iykwim? god this is making me laugh! when would he use it?

not a gitar stand.that's for people who can do more than play a very disjointed version of blackbird once a month!
