vertical blinds

anyone know if its possible to dye vertical blinds??? with what?? moved house and got hideous grey ones i want to transform. thanks

Are they roller blinds or what, Can u cut a bit of excess fabric off and try to dye it?

Agree. Foul. We inherited ours from previous owners and can't afford to change them yet, shudder when I look at them. Want wooden horizontal ones, are they 'in' twinkie or should I go for nets?

Oliveoil can't you bin them and just put up some big swathes of muslin or get incredibly cheap tab top curtains for now. Anything would be better than those vertical blinds surely?

BTW this company does by far and away the cheapest wooden blinds. They are seriously cheap and make them to your own size.

eg 100 cm wide and 250 cm drop is £59! I will eat my hat if anyone can beat that. They look fine too.

dh has a friend who is a blind man so we are going to use him when we have the cash ready. He fits them and everything as we do not have a diy bone between us.

you're right vertical blinds awful...especially our grey ones. cant afford much but would like to replce them.... have to have something as bathroom gets soooooooooooooooooo hot in the sun ....its a really large windo.... about 2 metres....suggestions?

Ikea are brillant for blinds a eg 100cm by 250cm is only £37.00

We have huge huge windows in our new house - i managed to get some really nice voile from a little shop the whole house only cost £60.00 to do
