HappyDaddy, have you tried hypnosis?

It's perfectly true, some people are not as sensitive to anaesthetics as others - my dad, for one. Makes operations quite 'interesting'. He often doesn't bother with the anaesthetic for dentistry as he doesn't see the point of the needle and drugs if he's not going to feel the benefit. But then my dad has inhuman self-control.

May just flounce off and wait for you all to beg for me to return to help you with your dental dilemmas (but I now I am pretty much forgettable so won't take the chance).

PrettyCandles, nah can't be arsed with hypnosis or whatnot. I'm an expert at clinging onto the arms of the chair and not moving at all.

Feels like I've run a marathon by the end though.

Hmmmmm

Case study - 4 year old boy, with brown marks on his teeth, and one thats sort of worn away - but its always been like that.

Doesnt have fizzy pop etc, brushes teeth.

Been like it since about 10 months old.

Dentist says not to worry....

Right, I have to disappear now (am off tomorrow to visit my delicious little nephew (some of you may know the story). Will be back at the weekend, to aid all of you dentally afflicted.
