i didnt ask for thiers, i just said to thier dd, why dont i give your mum my dd's number and if you both want to play, your mum can ring me?..then when leaving i asked her dad to put our number in his phone..he passed it to his dw and she took number ..but with him passing phone to dw, i felt a bit like oops have i crossed a barrier of friendly or scary here?
i really did/do get on with girls dad as he was one of cousin/brothers friends who used to look out for me whe i first started going out and we were chatting along with his wife and my dp all afty..just i sometimes feel i look a bit to desperate

Not at all. Would assume that he doesn't know how to use his phone very well!

Bucketsofdinosaurs · 30/07/2006 22:34

I would imagine the main thing she'll remember about you is how well you get on with DH. So if she is anything like me she'll invite you round to suss you out properly and show off her lully lully marriage and once convinced you're not a threat you'll be best friends. So maybe you should be the scared one LOL

(phone noise)

NettoFabulous · 30/07/2006 22:36

You're worrying me now - why would that be sad?

tillykins · 30/07/2006 22:41

gosh no, I'd be thrilled and be ringing you like a shot!

EvesMama · 31/07/2006 08:58

i just feel like i may impose myself on people by doing these things..she might not have liked me at all and maybe was just being polite then i go and force my number on her
