Building/insulation advise?

If I have a single breeze block wall how much insulation will I need to add to make an efficient building?

What Insulation could I use (& how would I fix it?)

It's a barn (with a correguated concrete roof) & I want to use it as a nursery

go to the energy efficient website, they will give you a list of councils/companies who give out grants or who do special offers

also try warm front / eaga they issue grants to people with certain benefits such as ctc cb etc, they may be able to help?

You can get solid block/sheet insulation in various thicknesses which you could then line and plaster but you would need heating too HTH x

I'm looking into a gravity feed or archimedes screw pellet burner to heat underfloor heating

Hopefully with shuttered windows on the southside I can reduce heat gain in the summer and not need aircon

Do you know what thicknesses I would need of the sheet insulation?

Can you convert m2 K/W into U values?
