Have a boast with me

Today I've painted the front room (except the edges and bits I can't reach) to surprise my DH and made a carrot, apple and raspberry cake that actually seems to have worked. (haven't tasted it yet mind.)
All this with an 18m old and a 3yr old in tow.

Anybody else pleased with themselves and wanna boast too?

Er ok well ive got up, had a shower and got dressed. I've put a load of washing on and baked caramelised apple and raisin flapjacks not much but more than I normally do with an 8 month old and a 3 year old lol.

i HAVENT throtled my son who has ignored me askinghim to pick up his toys about 40 times so i put them in a bag and he cant have them till tomorrow now.

Blimey presumably it is not 35 degrees again where you live?!

Have managed to take dd to have her hair cut, did a supermarket shop, hoovered,washed floors, cleaned bathrooms, generally tidied house, made tomato soup for tonight (to be eaten cold)and a carrot cake and banana loaf. With a 4 year old and a 19 month old (but youngest has been napping since 12.30, and still asleep).

And it is boiling here (but house is on th e market so must be spotless at all times).

Am feeling very good today, have done some tiling in the kitchen,made a lemon meringue pie, roasted a chicken for salad and sandwices hoovered the beds, ordered a new telly and tv stand and am on my fourth load of washing - still have loads of ironing to do though [blush.

sat in work surfing the world wide web eating strawberry mivvis and making fish sex jokes

and got paid for it

But I have sent my dd to play with her friends down the road so was unhindered by children which helps.
