...given myself a £50 parking ticket while at the hairdresser's. It was so hot here in london that, like the twonk i am, I was so pleased to get a space just outside, rather than half a mile away in this sweltering heat, that I put my £6.50, yes £6.50 (for 1.5 hrs) into the meter just behind the car rather than the one just in front.

Arse. Grrr.

So that's £56.50 totally wasted. If it hadn't been so hot I'd have been on my bike for free too.

my sister did a similar thing the otehr week.... in a permit holder only area... she was a visitor to her freind and accidently wrote the wrong date on her visitor permit

she was not amused either!

Thanks for your sympathy. I just feel sooo stupid, and sooo cross with myself.

But...I'm quite pleased with my hair . I'm trying to grow it slightly after a period of thinning post baby no.4. So I hadn't been to the hairdresser for a while, but it was looking shocking, so I went today and spelt out the cliche "Just tidy it up a bit please I'm trying to grow it ". Lo and behold it's looking good... just trying to convince myself now that it's been worth the £50++ extra on top of the normal bill.

PS I DAREN'T TELL DH. HE'LL BE FURIOUS.
