please can anyone help me.i dont know what the problem is with my computer, if its a setting or something but lately every couple of days, the computer wont connect to the internet.when i check, the ip address has disappeared.ntl have informed me to reinsert the ip address from their disk to start on broadband but surely i shouldnt have to keep doing it.has a setting been changed accidentally or any ideas? it worked fine for a few months and has now started doing it.when i check the ip adress it says when the address was obtained and the end date for the address is a couple of days later, is this normal or any idea how to change it?
any help would be appreciated.cant stand being on phone for nearly two hours again with man who cant talk english telling me to try things ive done a million times like, turn the power off to the modem!
