Help.. Worm/net virus on computer..

how do I get rid of it.

I have avg on my computer and that cant heal or delete it. I have tried spybot. My computer has a problem with Norton, so anything other would be great.

I have looked the the threads and I think it is a different problem (again total novice with these things). It says the virus is a netsky worm. cant seem to find where to delete.

windypops - you can't delete a worm without a good anti-virus programme (unless you are a really hard-core techy).

If your machine has a problem with Norton, the try McCaffee.

Search for grisoft and download their anti-virus stuff - free and good.

I went to grisoft, and it had something that was connected to the worm I had. I downloaded it and then did the virus checker again and it has gone Thanks a lot.

I had a netsky worm yesterday and called my local PC Doctor in to cure me.
