um help please

i have just realised that i fucked up with my birth control this month, my period is due early next week so i can't take a test obv but i just had some questions

i am on the patch (and i think i took it off on friday and put the new one on on monday (?) - basically its the same as missing a pill mid cycle we had sex over the weekend and i think it was the weekend that if i was not on b/c i would ovulate but doesn't hormonal BC stop you ovulating so what effect would this have? is it v.bad?

am a bit worried because my body is doing stuff it wouldn't normally do but i think this is because i am a bit worried etc and am paying attention more to stuff

anyway help and reassurance is v.welcome!! absolutely do not want to be pregnant. i don't know what the symptoms are really but suspect if i look them up i will convince myself i am kwim?

oops - I guess it's just a case of wait and see, too late for the morning after pill but it might be worth contacting the FPC or your GP to see if there is anything else - can they fit a coil or something?? Even if you are not pregnant I expect your period will be late because it usually is when you are desperate for it to arrive! Hope you're not!

Fingers crossed it goes your way. Don't think people usually get any symptoms that soon after conception (will probably be bombarded with examples now though) although personally I worry about pregnancy anytime my nipples feel even slightly strange.
Make sure you have a really bawdy pissup this weekend just in case, then you can pretend you had no idea

Get a coil if it is less than 5 days ago you had sex!
