Its mine and DH's anniversary on Monday and we have decided, as a joint anniversary present, to join a Health Club..lol. Is that the most unromantic present ever?

Hey, whatever makes you happy! How long have you been married? For our 10th Wedding Anniversary late last year I bought a propagator for my plants ffs. think practical gifts are okay, once you've got the singing under a moonlit sky/ poem pressies out of the way(if you really do these?) then whatever makes you tick)...just think of sweating/ pulsating bodies..your's and dh's

I dunno, my Dad once (very misguidedly it must be admitted, God rest his soul) bought my post modern feminist mother a sparkling new iron once for an anniversary present... She took her braless hairy armpitted and pink dungaree adorned self of to a commune shortly after - taking her 3 poor little kids with her... Dviorce followed
I know exactly why I don't iron LOL

We've been married for 8 years this year and its my second marriage. My first was just a trial run..lol and I never forget how lucky I was to meet my DP, hes one in a million. Im 34 this year though and its also because Im starting to think that maybe its time to make a little more effort. We are going out for a lovely meal on Monday as well though as DH's director told him to treat me to a really good meal as he is so pleased with his work!

We don't do anniversary presents at all. Do get cards though!
