Anyone got a Smart ForFour - quick petrol question.

We've got one of these cars on hire. My first thoughts were YUCK and How could they do this?! But it's actually nto a bad little car, apart from obviously very slow. I also really struggle reversing it for some reason! The ac is brilliant hto, and so economical, I could almost buy one.
Anyway, I need to know how much petrol I should put in to get it up to four bars, as it has to go back the same as it came out. Can anyone tell me please?

Is yours red and black too? I don't think I've ever seen them in a diff colour. I went out yesterday and was rather when I realised I was totally cordinated with the thing, in a matched red skirt and black top!

No. Mine is a a sea blue type colour (not bright; not dark; hard to explain) with silver panels. Mine is the Passion model.

We used to a have the ForTwo, but when they first came out. Was left hand drive and it was really rare to see them round here. Loved that too

sounds lovely, tho I still thing the two seater is awful. I'd hate to be in one of them, looks too scary. We were in our smart car alongside a seat alhambra (what I normally drive) and that was intimidating!

bumping for anyone else

The two seater is actually a pretty safe car - did you see the Top Gear tests? I loved it - was only car I have ever been sad to say goodbye too and we have had numerous cars of varying types and sizes.

Must have missed that one, it's just so tiny though! The smart car is still growing on me, though I'm still struggling with reversing up into our drive. Also tried a multistorey in 2nd gear and started rolling down the slope I think we have the 1.1 and there is no power there. I would be very tempted by the sport 1.5 one if we didnt have four kids. The steering is so light, and the gears really smooth. i'm going to feel like I'm driving a lorry when I get the seat back.
