Fancy dress panic! Ideas please......

Please can you help -we urgently need ideas for DD who is going to a Carribean themed party. She didn't want to dress up but has now changed her mind ( a 6 year olds perogative!)

I've tried googling but all you get is Pirates (of the Carribean) and she doesn't want to go as a pirate.

A pineapple?

A grass skirt and a bikini top

But what do you do with the pineapple (answers on a postcard please!!) -its just I can't see DD lugging a pineapple around for long

Two fat ovals of card,cover with triangles of yellow and brown paper.Join pieces together with ribbon over sholders and at sides to make tabard.
Backcomb hair and spray green or make a hat with jaggy green paper.

Excellent idea sugarfree -will have to bear that one in mind though as we don't have the time this time.

I think the bikini idea is easy. Flowers around the neck and in the hair,flip flops and a grass skirt or floaty skirt.

Much easier to play in than huge bits of cardboard which wont let her sit down!
