My windy 5 month old gets even worse when he has a cold. Does anyone know why this should be? I am really careful to wind him after his feeds but whenever he cries, and he is a fairly cheerful chap it's usually a burp that's bothering him. I have 3 older children and he gets all their colds. He is driving me mad with his crying/ burping routine. I bf him and am careful with my diet although probably do eat too much chocolate!

If his nose is blocked then he will breathe through his mouth and take in more air. Could you use an aspirator/saline drops to clear his nostrils especially before he naps ?
