Has anyone ever been really surprised by the way someone else's life has turned out after making contact via Friends Reunited, or a school reunion?

nope. Have you?

lionheart · 12/07/2006 14:45

Yes, I was a little bit taken aback to discover that the Greenham-lesbian-vegan-anarchist with purple hair that I used to share a place with at University now

teaches line dancing.

One girl in the class above mine has had a sex change and is now called Roy!

lionheart · 12/07/2006 16:09

Surprising choice of name, though.

I haven't, Lionheart. Beneath my Boden frock beats the heart of a true radical, oh yes it does, it's just busy placing the Ocado order

Although I do wish Cameron would stop talking sense

lionheart · 12/07/2006 19:33

Aah, thank god (or the godess, as my erstwhile housemate would have said back then).

Cameron is starting to scare me too.

Any radicalism worth its salt should be able to embrace difference, even if it does take the form of Boden and Ocado. I'm sure of it.
