I am recently divorced and have a 10% charge on my home to my ex. His solicitors have asked me to sign a legal charge to put the 10% charge on the land registry for my property. Does anyone know if this is a legal requirement when there is a charge on the home and am I under legal obligation to sign this legal charge. I have a consent order signed by me and my ex and approved by the courts. Thanks suzanne
