Whats the protocol for teachers gifts at the end of the Summer term? My daughter attends pre school nursery and won't be starting school until January. As the end of term is fast approaching I need some ideas for small teachers gifts around £5 each as I have 5 to buy. Can anyone help?

I was given a fabulous fruit basket one year for the staff to share during the last week of term. Would you think about giving a sharing pressie?

Yes I'd like some sharing presents ideas too please.

I've already done this at Christmas, but it went down quite well. Whittards (that sell teas/coffees and chocolate) had a big gift basket out with lots of different flavours of hot chocolate in it. They did a tea one and a coffee one too.

I also know of someone who found out where the staff were having their night out and contacted the restaurant and asked them to put out a couple of bottles of wine on the tables. It went down very well!!

i made a big batch of either rocky road ( something dh had never had until he came to Aus) or white choc and cranberry fudge. Did it up in bowls and gave it to therapists, teachers and so on. Went down a treat. WIll see if I can find a link.

here is the link with some recipes... the fudge makes a big batch - easy do 5 teachers. I just got cheap ceramic ( but fab looking) bowls from a discount store and wrapped it with cellophane.
