broken zip can it be fixed

i have a favourite jacket like a mac type thing and the zip is very stiff and keeps getting stuck where can i get it fixed sorry i no its boring im no good at sowing by the way so i cant fix it

its stiff but it gets stuck ill try oiling it if not ill take it somewhere tomoeow its too nice to thow away just cause of a zip

Rub a candle up and down the zip if it's just stiff.

its the zip thing thats stiff not the whole zip you no the actual zip where you do it up its soooooo anoying

Don't use WD40!! (Sorry, Twiglet) It can stain the fabric and ruin the waterproofing. Get an HB pencil and run it up and down the teeth of the zip. You could also try sharpening just the tip of the pencil so that you only get black dust, and no wood-flakes, and then pouring the dust into the zip-bit (I think I know what you mean, but I also don't know what it's called! ). If you get the dust ontothe fabric, hoover it off, don't brush it.
