I am so shocked about Zidane. What a way to go. No excuse for such behaviour etc etc but my God, the repercussions for the poor man - will probably cost him loads, both financially - fine for the incident itself, withdrawal of sponsorship, withdrawal of job offers that he'd be moving onto after football, but also personally, he'll be blamed for France loosing, be in disgrace for loosing it so bloody big time in front of the whole world.
I feel so sorry for him. And what the hell did Materazzi say or do to provoke that reaction? Whatever it was, he walks away holding the world cup with a big smile on his face. I feel really miserable about it today!
Don't think you can walk away from this final saying the best team won.
