This is only the second time I've tried to sell something, and I've messed it up - can i withdraw it, someone's put a bid on it already?
Help, thanks.

My DH says yes you can

Xena · 08/07/2006 21:52

yes as long as you have 24hrs left.

mustrunmore · 08/07/2006 22:02

Yes, you just have to give a reason, eg no longer available, or broken.

Any idea where the bit is on the site? I'm looking in 'my ebay selling' and can't find anything to click on.

If you go into "HELP" at the top of your ebay page, then type in "how to end my listing early" in the space press go it will come up with it, click on the link. you will need the item number which you can get from your item page top right hand corner.

No problem

bluebear · 08/07/2006 22:36

Yeah! I have done it. Phew.

S'pose I better find the courage to re-list it with the right details this time
Thanks again, everyone, and mindshaker in particular.

Xena - it didn't mention a time restriction, so it looks like you can cancel the listing right up until the end!
