Would you leave negative feedback on Ebay?

Hi, have just received a childs 'Falmer' dress from a private seller on Ebay. In the description it said the dress was in very good condition, however, when received the dress had about 5 small brown stains on the front. I was disappointed with this but would I seem a right bitch if I left negative feedback & then would the seller give me negative feedback too?

contact the seller before leaving feedback, they may offer a refund

Try and resolve the issue with the seller first, email them and then see. But if you do leave negative take it as given that they will retaliate with like for like.....

difficult one. if you have lots of good feedback yourself then i'd email them and ask. then if their reply wasn't satisfactory i'd leave negative feedback. i'm sure they'll retaliate, or you could (sneakily) wait until they've done your feedback, then mail them.

when i buy, if i see some negative feedback and the rest is very good, i take it with a pinch of salt. there are some nutters out there!

Something like this happened to me, I contacted them and didnt get a satisfactory response so then left negative and they then left negative for me, which I was a bit annoyed about as I paid very promptly. But then I really wanted to warn people about this ebayer and this was the first negative I had, you can leave feedback against a negative left against you (does that make sense) so I just explained the situation.
