Dodgy tumble dryer

Our dryer is about 18mths old. In the first year, while under warranty, we had to get them out twice to fix a broken timer. The Bl**dy thing has just broken again (and when it happens the drum keeps turning when the door is opened). Do you think I'm within my rights to try and get the manufacturers to repair this given that their must be some kind of problem with the timer design?-its a really dangerous fault too.

Ooh, miggy, I'm not sure how this works - with some things once you have accepted a repair it kind of implies that you have accepted the thing with the fault, IYKWIM.

Have you spoken to the retailer about it or just to the manufacturer? It does sound like a design fault and the shop may know about it - what make is it?
