then you shouldnt drink. This is in reference to women who are "attacked" by men.

Also that if you go out dressed in a manner that makes you "look easy", you have "probably got to be able to stand up for yourself as well".

She wasnt particularly high in my estimation before.

She is certainly rock bottom now.

the idea of people finding Jordan 'an inspiration' is both ridiculous and dreadful.

She has made her so called mark on society because she has a gigantic fake set of breasts - and that's it. She has reduced herself to being nothing more than the sum total of her chest measurement. Can someone please explain exactly what she has actually contributed to our world which is meaningful and lasting. And it's not about the money - I mean crack dealers and gun runners are better off than most of us and they haven't really helped society have they?

I find her pathetic and deeply dim, and if she did make these comments I am not surprised as let's face it, she is not intelligent enough to grasp the irony involved.

Greensleeves · 08/07/2006 22:27

I'm genuinely perplexed. How has this woman "made a mark on society"? She is a glorified porn star. She is famous for having had a pair of plastic comedy breasts inserted permanently into her chest cavity, for being orange, and for being gobby.

Sad day when we are taking pedagogic advice from a person of her ilk

southeastastra · 08/07/2006 22:34

is jordan equal to sausage rolls for mn ?

Toothache · 08/07/2006 22:36

I think she has a point!!!!

noddyholder · 08/07/2006 22:47

You can make a lot of money without being particularly clever If she did say that she is a disgrace to women

Bucketsofdinosaurs · 08/07/2006 23:16

'If you get drunk and you can't say no you shouldn't drink'
I totally agree or are we all looking forward to our DDs rolling in the gutter outside a club on a Saturday night and relying on the kindness of strangers?
Can't believe I emerged relatively unscathed from much of my misspent youth but think it's something most of us have to grow out of. Always saddens me to see/hear of women over 25 getting that bladdered out on the town, they really should know themselves better.

MadamePlatypus · 09/07/2006 08:52

Was she saying that it is dangerous to behave like this or that behaving like this means that men are absolved from blame?

There are plenty of alley ways/wooded areas that I would never walk in because I don't think they are safe - that doesn't mean to say that it is OK for me to be attacked if I do enter them. Similarly it is dangerous to get in an unlicensed mini cab, but that doesn't make it OK for the cab driver to assault somebody. I would certainly add being drunk out of your skull to my list of dangerous things to be avoided.

MABS · 09/07/2006 12:16

I find it truly fascinating that you all believe everything you read in the press.

DumbledoresGirl · 09/07/2006 12:18

Crikey, I agree with her. You can all flame me now.

Cappucino · 09/07/2006 12:22

thank feck for that DG

what on earth is wrong with saying that you shouldn't get out of control drunk? that you should be able to drink to the point where others have to be responsible for your safety?

I mean she's no rocket scientist but I'm with her on this one
