I'm a single mum and first time mum to my lovely eight month old daughter. I live in barnet/brent London and I'm 40.

They say if you always do the same things, you'll always get the same results. I therefore welcome all the warmth and unexpected pleasures mumsnet could bring into my life which otherwise I would never experience.

I'm another one from south London. I'm a mum with two grown up DC and I really like the wide Mumsnet mix of people. No matter what you want to talk about there is someone who is willing to discuss it with you.
