No. You can download Power Point Viewer for free, though, which will let you look at presentations but not create them.

do you know of any other products I can download to create a slide show of pictures to transfer onto a disk?

This is good -- not free but not horribly expensive (and they do a 15-day free trial so if you only want to do it the once it'll work out free).
