I need a nice secure solution to this problem

I have a new member of staff, that I need to let into my house at 6:45

I do not want to get up at that time....and neither do I want to give her a key, until I know her properly

How do I solve this??

I wondered about a lockable box (with a combination padlock) screwed to the wall by the door

Is there a better solution?

if you don't want to give her a key until you know her properly, why are you letting her into your house?

Cos that's where we work

We will be asleep upstairs

I'm sorry but I still don't understand if you don't trust someone enough to have a key, what difference would putting a key in a secure box make? she's still going to be in your house when you're asleep..

I would get up and let her in, 6.45 isn't so bad (and you could go back to bed)

Would this be outside your front door?

KBear · 06/07/2006 17:17

Isn't 6.45 morning? Get up and have a cuppa with her!

Katymac · 06/07/2006 17:24

No outside my side door, I'm too lazy to get up that early (i'd be working 11 hrs stright if I did)
