Driving Theory Test

I have had 4 x 2 hour lessons and the driving school has just phoned me to book my theory test for three weeks time. I've put them off but then wondered at what point do people usually do their theory test?

Practically the driving is going surprisingly well but I haven't really thought about my theory test yet so, at what point did you do it and secondly did you put lots of work into learning it or is it just something that comes from learning to drive anyway?

i'd get it booked now tbh. its not that hard to learn, get the dvds from tescos, do the quizzes online and you'll be fine. its valid for 2years(IIRC) after you pass, and as your lessons are going well, its best to get it done, so you can then book yuour practical test as soon as you feel you arwe ready.
