I hate to say it but all mobile phones that have gone the water way in our house have crked it, and thats alot of phones and swear words!

Don't press buttons on it! If it is wet inside and you try to use it, it may break and never work again (it's to do with making connections when the connections are wet - it blows them I think).

leave it until completely dry (opened in the hotpress for about two days is ideal) then try to use it again.
If moisture is behind the screen that might work too.

What model is it, can you get the cover off? If you can, then do so, gently wipe away any wet you can see with a soft cloth (no bits), and leave it open to dry for a few hours, then put it back together.

Otherwise, try a highstreet shop to see if they can repair.

My sister though her mobile phone had had it when her daughter got hold of it. It did dry out and lived again. Try taking the battery out and drying the contections etc.

Don't wish to upset you re your injured phone, but when it worked what did you think of it? I have a Siemens Poppy and find it a right pain in the arse to navigate, much more complicated than my old one. It looks pretty, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone

Put it in a box of silica gel crystals. My partner washed his phone at 40 degrees followed by a long spin - he put it in one of those and it worked fine after that!

I love Siemens phones, and find them as easy as Nokias.
Hate Samsungs and Sony Ericssons though.

Take out the battery and the SIM and dry them separately - if you can do so out of the children's sight!
