I brought one at the market for £20 that has gone down, so that will be returned next week. Anyway, I ordered one this morning from the Littlewoods site for £69.99 with a £10 discount so was £59.99, just been on there again and its reduced to £50, so phoned them and cancelled the one I ordered this morning and reordered it with the £10 off, so got it for £40!! Its now the same price as the argos ones, who have NONE in stock anywhere...

How are you going to fill it? Do you have a hose pipe ban where you are?

SparklyGothKat · 03/07/2006 18:48

go here for loads of codes

OP posts:
SparklyGothKat · 03/07/2006 18:48

yes we have a hosepipe ban but we are allowed to fill pools and ponds.

OP posts:
MrsGerrard · 03/07/2006 18:58

I just didn't think they allowed you to fill big pools, had to keep it to a minimum?

Really interested as bought a smaller pool than the one we have because of that info given.

SparklyGothKat · 03/07/2006 18:59

we won;t be filling it right up,

OP posts:
SparklyGothKat · 03/07/2006 19:01

Its says on our local water board site that we can fill swimming pools and ponds. A swimming pool would take a huge amount of water but thats the info. we have been given.

It says you can fill up swimming pools & ponds so by that info i would think it could be any size otherwise they should have written only small pools etc etc.

They did have a pool in toys r us for £50 it was half price probably gone now.

Kelly1978 · 03/07/2006 19:10

a friend of mine bought one of those sort of things. It ended up beign a right hassle tbh. The ground has to be perfectly level or it punctures. It is so big that the sun doesn't warm the water up so she had to buy a heater and then some sort of covering to keep the heat in. Then there is the chlorine etc to keep the water clean. I'd love one, but she put me right off! We have three smaller ones, one with a bouncy castle, one with ksut a slide into it, and one which is an inflatable playground. I fill them all, use them for a few days then water the plants and lawn with the water.

Lemmingswife · 03/07/2006 19:11

Nursery and toys website are selling 10ft pools reduced from £100-£45.

MrsGerrard · 03/07/2006 20:36

I saw an identical one in Superdrug for £29.99!

Angeliz · 03/07/2006 20:38
