Excellent News Twiglet Personally think it is ridiculous that everyone isn't entitled to exactly the same whatever situation they are in but hey, that's a whole other story!

I found out recently that because i have private medical cover through work i am entitled to £100 when the baby is born - only found this out by chance as i was checking to make sure my travel insurance was still valid being pregnant - always nice to get little surprises

Well done Twiglett, I've had three lots of maternity allowance having been self-employed (pretty much in name only the last time), though not done quite as well as you, as its recently gone up (this government finally did something useful). Do not feel guilty - you deserve it.
