has it rained up there - how hot is it?

Dad has just phoned from Spain a bit concerned about his koi carp!

it's been hot, hot, hot today and none of the wet stuff yet Gdg.....
we have spent the day at the beach and had a 'twentymans ice cream'......yummy!!!!
