DD is 11 and is very good ( beats me ) at Rummy and Racing DEmon ... but we are getting rather bored - and feel that we'd lke something else to play ...

Any suggestions please ??

How to play cribbage . You don't absolutely need a cribbage board, you can just keep score, although you can get boards with card game kits easily enough.

Whist? Can't remember how you play it but remember enjoying it at about that age and if she can cope with Rummy then could deal with whist (which can get very complex and competitive). And what about Hearts? The game where you have to pass round the Ace of spades (it usually comes with Windows packages!) but you need at least 4 players if I remember rightly. Also, and I know it's not a card game but how about playing jacks? Can't wait till dd (now 5.5) is old enough for this sort of stuff!
