I fear she missed the moggling furore

sugarfree · 30/06/2006 18:47

She's channelling herself through ds2(6) I think.
Earlier he said "Green is the new black mummy"

He scares me some times Dior,he really does!

This is the same child that told me the other day that his newly cut off dressing gown cords(that'll stop the chewing!hah!) were "the size of a baby salamander now!"

Which thread are you all talking about? Was it the priest one?

I don't have much to do with Cod really, I guess we don't see eye to eye on a lot of things. I did start a thread about the priest one because I am rc and I felt personally hurt and offended by that one. But she came on and more or less apologised (I think!) so that was the end of the matter for me. She is very outspoken and I have noticed a few threads getting at her, but then she's always managed to handle herself quite well on these. If she's taking a break then perhaps we ought to leave her to it?

She's just having a break, feeling a bit battered. Snort! Made up the battered bit, she's just fed up. Having said that, I suspect she's having the occasional lurk so be sure to offer lots of hugs.

Rhubarb · 30/06/2006 19:31

Well...... my mum was a nun actually! That bit's true!

dps auntie was a nun for nearly forty years and then she came out of the convent and got married..I think that is weird

Northerner · 30/06/2006 19:36

Which thread are you talking about? Link required please.

Personally I like Cod, yes I know she offends folk sometimes but she speaks her mind and I like that. If she's wrong she admits it too. It's refreshing as sometimes MN can be a bit sychofantic (sp?) sometimes.

Rhubarb · 30/06/2006 19:40

My mum wasn't a fully fledged nun, but she left to get married too. She was nuts from the beginning and is even more so now! By all logical reasoning I shouldn't be a catholic given her behaviour, but I still am! Perhaps there is a little bit of a priest in me somewhere?

Seriously though, hope it wasn't my thread that is causing this. It certainly wasn't started to have a go at her! I should think anyone who knows me here knows that I don't do that. I just have a bit of a fiery temper!

SoupDragon · 30/06/2006 19:42

"Perhaps there is a little bit of a priest in me somewhere"

Can't help but think that could have been phrased better ...

jollymum · 30/06/2006 19:46

I was a Sunday School teacher too, well, I ran it actually! Got lynched when I updated the Nativity Play to include music.

Ok ok ok! I haven't 'had' a priest! Honestly I swear I haven't! (but then you do know what they say about us catholic girls! )
