I need to park at east croydon station early in the morning (very very early) can croydonites or anyone who has used the station please advise

  1. is there an actual station car park and if so how do I find it (I don't know croydon at all)
  2. if not, where is the nearest and is it far/safe to walk from early in the morning
  3. how much does it cost to park for a whole day

many tks

Squirmy - there is a NCP multistory car park on the corner of Landsdown Road and Dingwall Road. Its about 5 mins or so from the station. You can see the location here ==> www.streetmap.co.uk/newmap.srf?x=532750&y=165750&z=1&sv=532750,165750&st=4&ar=N&mapp=newmap.srf&searchp=newsearch.srf
There are some other car parks nearby too but tbh I'm not sure of there individual costs but I reckon it will be approx £7 or more for the whole day.

If you want to save on parking you can park further out as Sb suggests, on residential roads near Riddlesdown station, and Purley Oaks, but these trains are not as frequent. There is a very good train service too from Purley - parking is approx £3-£4 a day

no sb, direct trains to brum are like hens teeth - two a day from EC...

will try the multistorey, thanks Metrobaby. actually wondering if it might be cheaper and less hassle to get a taxi from home to ec station
