Is Tiscali very slow at the mo?

For a few days I have found internet access painfully slow - my ISP is Tiscali.

Anyone else having problems? I'm not sure if it's my PC that's the problem or if it's Tiscali's fault!

I've had some problems too scoobysnax (intermittently slow), and have had none at all until a week ago. Don't know if your area affects it? We're in NW, on halfspeed broadband.

Heard TISCALI are having financial probs, going bankrupt or something. Lots of people getting inflated bills. Can't get through for refunds on direct debits. THATS ALL I know, if I were you i WOULD CANCEL ANY sTANDing orders, etc. to avoid losing out.
Sorry about capitals!!

All our bills are correct - no problems there.

From The Times, 13 February 2004

"Tiscali, Europe’s third biggest internet service provider, reported a doubling of its core profit in the fourth quarter to €27.6 million (£19 million), as it signed up more broadband clients and asked for its first credit rating."

Have you got a source tillymint? Cos you've got me a bit worried!

We just joined with Tiscali (or rather DH did it behind my back and then said we had discussed it- must have been sleeping!) Now I am worried! I will need to check if we are paying by direct debit and get a cap put on it if so.

We haven't been able to get into our emails tonight.

Bugger!

Roisin I have the same connection as you, but in E Anglia.

We can't get through on th eTiscali helpline as usual - thinking of changing providers...
