My garden has gone to pot whilst pg - DS2 is now 3 months old. I can't face hours and hours of getting all the weeds out and we haven't touched it since about August....

I thought I could get a gardener in, just to get all the weeds out. Does anyone know how to find someone to do just that and how much they charge?

we pay £7 per hour, in the North Midlands, if that helps

I have here a bill of gbp197, for trimming all our hedges and weeding the garden since last March! Mind you, the gardener says he'll have to give up his business unless he starts to make a bit more money. I think he's asking too little, myself.

Lisa78, if you are North London (Islington or Hackney) I can heartily recommend our gardener. He charges £15 an hour but is scrupulously honest & very hard-working. Our garden hadn't been touched since the summer & he came over last week with his mate for a day & a half & it now looks wonderful. let me know if you want his number.
