Depressed

Is it just me today (and yesterday) or does anyone else feel depressed? I have no inclination to do anything other that mope around. I'll have to go and get some fresh air I think.

Good idea, Rachy. A brisk walk in the fresh air always clears the head and raises the spirits!

No its not just you we all have days like that - in fact I know just before my boy wakes up what kind of a mood I am in, and depending on just how bad I am, eg, if its really bad then I just get through the day and we all have a fairly quiet time - how unfair is that, or if its not too bad then I give myself a very big talking too and really plan the day and don't have a moment to think too much.

I generally go shopping and buy something for me me me me that usually cheers me up and then the present husband says 'new boots?' and then I spiral out of control, reach for the fags a stiff gin and say 'I am not cooking tonight'and get on the phone to my bf, there another day gone!!

Seriously the weather is vile and I think that we all need some sun on our faces, no chldren, new clothes and a good book and a flirt, sounds like my youth!

You said it charliesmummy! We all need a break now and then. I have just had "one of those weeks" and iam glad its over.
I think the time of year is depressing.
Its cold and no xmas to look forward to. And I just hate adapting to lighter evenings again.

Rachy how depressed are you talking? I went through a really bad phase for a while a few months ago just wanted to scream all the time felt really angry and couldn't understand why I felt so so angry could understand some anger but not all it just seemed to build up - not nearly so depressed at present.

bin, can relate to what you say about feeling so angry all the time, I seem to be shouting loads lately (and nasty nasty moods) but I never really considered it to be depression just bad-temperedness and being a very tense, angry person. Little thing can really wind me. Baby whinging, boy whining (basically all the usual family stuff) Can depression manifest itself as anger? I hate being so angry and know I shouldn't be like this and always regret it later.
